Dekabon Synflex 1300 Tubing

Fluidline is proud to be the premium partner of Danfoss Dekabon Synflex 1300 tubing in Sub-Saharan Africa. As the only importer and stockist of the original Dekabon Synflex 1300, we provide a trusted, high-quality product that has proven its reliability in numerous installations across Africa and worldwide.

Synflex 1300 composite tubing features a polyethylene/aluminium construction that combines the advantages of both metal and plastic.

It can be bent using a traditional tube bender, much like stainless steel seamless tubing. Resistant to corrosion, steam, and water, Synflex 1300 is ideal for high-moisture environments and can be installed underground alongside instrument cables.

Its outer jacket is impervious to most chemical exposures, while the inner layer offers excellent permeation resistance and increased mechanical strength, ensuring durability and long-term performance in demanding applications.

Dekabon Synflex 1300 Tubing

Features:

Tube material: Polyethylene/Aluminium composite: Black high density polyethylene bonded to an overlapped aluminium tape having an ethylene copolymer coating.

Benefits:

Fully bonded polyethylene/aluminium construction combines the advantages of both metal and plastic tubing. The tubing is manufactured in long continuous lengths that can eliminate many fitting connections, yet it is light enough for an installer to carry to practically any location. It has shape holding ability 'stay put' characteristics which can provide neat looking bends without special bending tools, yet the metal reinforced tube wall gives greater pressure ratings than plain plastic tubing.
The tube can be cut cleanly with a standard utility knife.

Application:

Designed for pneumatic instrument control systems.

Construction:

High density polyethylene cover. Polyethylen/aluminium core tube.
Temperature and pressure range: Maximum operating +80°C and pressure ranges over 100 bar, 1500 psi. Please consult our pressure temperature table for Dekabon 1300 Synflex tube contained in our data sheet.

Easy To Install:

The inner aluminium layer adds tube wall strength that permits the tube to span large distances without additional support. It also makes a perfect tubing choice for direct burial without additional protection from concrete to earth installations. Welding projections do not damage the tubing or its performance level.

Our Stockholding:

Fluidline maintains a substantial stockholding in Midrand, Johannesburg, demonstrating our dedication to being the leading instrumentation tube supplier in our market. Traditional quantities come in 300 metre coils, while longer lengths can be produced according to requirements. Our stockholding consists of metric sizes from 6mm to 16mm and Imperial sizes from ¼” to ½”.
