Siphon Tube / Pigtails

Siphon Tube / Pigtails

  • Siphons are used mainly to protect pressure instruments, gauges, switches and transmitters from coming into direct contact with high temperature process fluids or vapours.
These are mounted between process and pressure instruments and fill with condensate fluids; they also reduce process pulsation and act as a heat dispenser causing cooling in the system protecting instruments from high temperatures.
